Regardless of the possible outcome that will arise from the Derpy situation,

She WILL always exist. She will ALWAYS be there.

Why? Because she is more than just a cartoon character.

She is a symbol. A symbol that cannot merely be destroyed by mere political correctness.

So for those who are saddened by the current happenings regarding Derpy, keep your head up!, because she will never leave, if you want her there! and if you believe that she never left nor was taken away in the first place!

and if it's not enough.....? Well, let's just say she's in good hands!

No one can take Derpy away from us. But they can take Derpy away from the series, and that is what people are worried about :( Most characters live a very rich life outside of the series in countless fan works, but it is nevertheless special when something is officially canon. If necessary, I am willing to discard canon in favor of my own preferences, but I would be happy to avoid this :nod:
